"There is no such thing as a small sin if a person doesn't have regret. Without teshuvah, no sin is small. Every sin is a catastrophe if a person doesn't regret it."
Rabbi Avigdor Miller, "Easy Road to Teshuvah,"# 524, 6:58
Yes, I am. I am older, a married woman who has practiced Judaism for decades but never formally converted until this year. I discovered R’ Hirsch while investigating my husband’s Ashkenazic roots. I wish I had learned this thirty years ago!
We are near Baltimore now, but lived in NYS for most of our lives. Unfortunate timing, but will keep looking for people here. I’m grateful for these resources, and happy people are still aspiring to live by these standards.
Thank you for the substantial work and commitment to this site. It is a valuable resource, especially as a newcomer. Gemar chatimah tovah.
